Tuberville In the News: 1819 News: ‘Meant every word I said’: Tuberville fires back at Dems angry over social media posts critical of Islam

U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Auburn) said he has no regrets after drawing liberal condemnation last week on social media for once again criticizing the growing influence of radical Islam on American society and government.

During a Monday appearance on Newsmax’s “The Todd Starnes Show,” the legislator reaffirmed his recent statements made on X, while speaking of the dangers presented to non-Muslims by the central religious text of Islam.

“I meant every word I said. The enemy is inside our gates. We got them here,” Tuberville told Starnes. “Joe Biden and Barack Obama brought them here by the thousands. It’s a disgrace. If you preach or teach Sharia law, you need to go home. You don’t fit in the United States of America. We’re a Christian country. If you pray to the Quran, the Quran says to kill all infidels. And infidels are people who are not Muslims, and that means all Americans and all Christians who are not Muslims.”

Tuberville added, “I was a flavor of the week last week by all the so-called leaders of the Democrat Socialist Party. Go after Coach, he said something bad about our voters of the future, and the Muslims are the voters of the future for the Democratic Party. I’m going to tell it like it is. I’ve done that since I’ve been here, and I’m not going to back off now.”

Tuberville pointed to the disintegration of Western European culture as a case study in the outcomes of unchecked Islamization.

“If you just look at what’s happened to Europe, to ever get their countries back the way they used to be 15 to 20 years ago, they’re going to fight in the streets,” argued Tuberville. “It will have to happen for the people to take it back. We’re at the point right now where we need to make a decision. Do we want to wait till we have to fight in the streets, or do we want to kick them out now and say, enough, enough of this?”

Starnes asked Tuberville about a recent New York Times article highlighting the grassroots effort that helped block the expansion of the Islamic Academy of Alabama into Hoover.

“I want to take my hat off to all of the people in that community,” Tuberville said to Starnes. “They went to a school board member and said, No more expansion of this school. They’re teaching Sharia law. They’re going by the Quran. They said they weren’t, but all you had to do was look at their website. We’re not stupid.”

“The things they were teaching are not what the United States of America that you and I grew up in was about. They hate the Constitution, and they want to brainwash these kids. Again, let me say this, it’s not just Muslims. It’s kids that they want to bring into their fold who are not of the Muslim faith.”

Added Tuberville, “They want to integrate all their thoughts into the minds of these kids, and we’ve got to stop it now.”
