Tuberville In the News: Newsmax: Sen. Tuberville to Newsmax: Kirk’s Murder ‘Fault of the Left’

Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., told Newsmax that last week’s murder of conservative leader Charlie Kirk is the “fault of the left.”

Tuberville told “American Agenda” on Monday that liberal politicians and activists throughout America have created an atmosphere of division. “They have preached this hate against Americans across this country that believe in the Constitution and the things that this country was built on.”

The Alabama senator said Kirk was on a mission to counter that rhetoric. “Charlie was trying to bring the good out in people, and somebody took his life because he was — I don’t know whether he was mad, whether he was indoctrinated — but at the end of the day, let’s quit blaming this on the Republican right.”

Tuberville said he has witnessed the impact of the liberal talking points firsthand. “This is definitely on the hands of the left because I’ve been here five years in the Senate, and let me tell you something, they have preached nothing but hate, nothing but violence.”

He said this is a moment of reckoning in America. “We have got to stop this rhetoric — the Democrats do — and we’ve got to stand up for our country, and that’s what you’re seeing Americans do right now.”

The White House seems poised to take action based on comments from Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller. He told Vice President JD Vance on Monday, as Vance subbed as host of Kirk’s regular broadcast, that organized networks originating from the left are contributing to political violence.

Miller said the Trump administration is ready to use the Department of Homeland Security along with the Department of Justice to “identify, disrupt, dismantle, and destroy” those networks.
