MONTGOMERY— U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville’s (R-AL) team made a stop in Montgomery to host a U.S. Service Academy information session in conjunction with the offices of U.S. Senator Katie Britt and Congresswoman Terri Sewell.
During the session, students and parents heard from congressional staff about each office’s application process, met with service academy representatives, and heard from recent service academy graduates.
The final information session will be on Tuesday, August 29, at 6 p.m. at Southern Union Community College in Opelika. The deadline to apply for an academy nomination through Senator Tuberville’s office is Monday, October 16, 2023.
Senator Tommy Tuberville represents Alabama in the United States Senate and is a member of the Senate Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, and HELP Committees.
