VISITING WASHINGTON

There are many attractions to visit while in DC, and we can help you book tours.

If you are planning a visit to Washington, D.C., Senator Tuberville’s office can help you schedule Congressional Tours across our nation’s capital.

  • United States Capitol
  • The White House
  • Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Headquarters
  • Bureau of Engraving and Printing

Many tours are in high demand and have limited availability. While my office will help with all tour requests for the above locations, please consider submitting your request with ample time before your visit date so my office can best assist you.

U.S. Capitol

Capitol Tours:

The United States Capitol is open for tours Monday through Friday, except on federal holidays, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

My team is happy to reserve a time for a Tuberville staff-led Capitol Tour for groups of 15 people or fewer. Reservations for staff-led tours are required, and we recommend you make your reservation at least one month in advance. Please click here to fill out my office’s tour request form, or call our Washington, D.C. office at (202) 224-4124.

The White House

The White House:

White House tours are available Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. except on federal holidays or unless otherwise noted. Tours of the White House are granted on a first-come, first-served basis at the discretion of the White House Visitors Center.

All White House tours are free of charge. Reservations are required, and requests may be submitted no sooner than three months in advance, but no later than 21 days before the planned visit date. Security information is required for every person in your party wishing to tour the White House. If the White House confirms your tour, you will be assigned a specific tour time. Please click here to fill out my office’s tour request form, or call our Washington, D.C. office at (202) 224-4124.

The White House Visitors office makes tour decisions approximately two–three weeks before your requested tour date. The White House offers a limited number of tours that can fill up months in advance and are subject to a last-minute cancellation due to official use or inclement weather.

FBI Education Center

FBI:

The FBI Education Center is open Monday through Friday for tours booked through Congressional offices. Tours may be scheduled up to five months in advance, but no later than four weeks before the planned visit date. Tours are conducted at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m and are designed to last 60–90 minutes. Visitors should plan to arrive 30 minutes early to allow for security processing. Security information is required, and visitors must be U.S. citizens or valid green card holders. All visitors age 16 and older must provide government-issued photo ID. School IDs will also be accepted

Bureau of Engraving and Printing

Bureau of Engraving and Printing:

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) produces United States paper currency. On a tour of BEP, you can see how money is made and learn about the process behind creating our currency. BEP is open for congressional tours Monday-Friday year-round with the exception of Federal Holidays and the week between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day. Reservations for BEP tours can be made through our office up to 6 months in advance, but no later than 14 business days from the requested tour date. Tours of BEP are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Year-round, tours booked through my office are offered at 8:15 or 8:45 am. Currently, BEP tours are limited to 10 visitors per group. Please click here to fill out my office’s tour request form, or call our Washington, D.C. office at (202) 224-4124.
