Montgomery Student Awarded Falcon Foundation Scholarship

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) today announced that Henry Rasmussen of Montgomery received a scholarship to attend the Falcon Prep School at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Henry was one of a group of students nominated by Senator Tuberville to represent Alabama in the class of 2026 at one of the four service academies: the United States Air Force Academy, Military Academy, Merchant Marine Academy, and Naval Academy. Henry is the son of Reid and Lori Rasmussen, and attends St. James School in Montgomery.

“This exceptional young Alabamian’s desire to serve ensures America’s military remains the strongest fighting force in the world.” said Senator Tuberville.

“Despite all of the challenges facing our nation, whether political or social, I believe that America is the epitome of a free society and is the greatest nation in the world,” said Henry. “We have achieved this through the hard work of each generation. By attending the Air Force Academy, I will be able to join my fellow patriots and leaders on tomorrow’s battlefields, and continue the American tradition of protecting freedom.”

The Falcon Foundation is a non-profit foundation that provides scholarships to colleges or preparatory schools for motivated young people seeking admission to the U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) and a career in the Air Force. Selection for these scholarships is limited, with only a maximum of 100 scholarships being awarded each year.

Senator Tommy Tuberville represents Alabama in the United States Senate and is a member of the Senate Armed Services, Agriculture, Veterans’ Affairs, and HELP Committees.
