Senate Approves Tuberville Resolution Honoring Hank Aaron

WASHINGTON – The U.S. Senate today approved a resolution honoring the life and legacy of baseball legend Hank Aaron, introduced by U.S. Senators Tommy Tuberville (R-AL),  Richard Shelby (R-AL), Raphael Warnock (D-GA), and Jon Ossoff (D-GA).

“Hammerin’ Hank Aaron  made enormous contributions to the game of baseball both on and off the field. In addition to having one of the most accomplished careers in baseball, Aaron was a civil rights icon and worked tirelessly in his community and across the country to improve the lives of others.  Aaron made his home state of Alabama, the city of Mobile, and the United States of America proud, and I’m grateful to my colleagues for joining us in honoring the incredible legacy of this great American.”
